I have been working for 7+ years in video editing and motion design, primarily with companies, studios, and agencies. For the past 4 years, I have specialized in mobile-first creatives, particularly for Instagram and Facebook ads/posts.
I usually start by reading the brief and then I watch all the latest information about the product to get the core idea: why the product exists and what message the brand wants to send. Then I brainstorm ideas on how to use motion design to deliver this message, all while adhering to strict brand guidelines.
The rest is straightforward. I create graphics and animate them, then I improve upon it, no matter how good it is. When it looks perfect and fabulous, I refine it a bit more and then send it to the client.
